Lady Yeguas fall in district to Bremond, Mumford

The Lady Yeguas had a rough time last week with two district losses -- losing at home to Bremond and on the road to Number 25 Mumford.Last Tuesday, in a New Year’s Eve showdown, Somerville hosted Bremond, falling to the Lady Tigers 81-21.

Snook Bluejays grabs early lead, beats Iola 77-56

The Snook Bluejays hit some key shots early and used its man defense in the second half to maintain control in a 77-56 road win over Iola last Friday.Snook, who fell to Hearne on Dec. 31 at home 59-38, improved to 11-9 overall and 1-1 in district play.

Snook Lady Jays compete in Thorndale Lady Dogs Shootout

The Lady Jays traveled to Thorndale last Friday and Saturday to play in the annual Thorndale Shootout.The Lady Jays were in the Gold Pool, along with Rogers, Valley Mills and Jewett Leon.Snook drew Rogers for its Thursday morning game, falling to the Lady Eagles 57-30.
