Lady Jays beat Lady Yeguas in Round 2 of Burleson County Vball Showdown

The home team had the advantage this season...In the first round of the Burleson County Showdown -- volleyball version, the home team was Somerville, with the Lady Yeguas beating their rivals, the Lady Jays, in a heartbreaking marathon match 14-25, 2518, 25-14, 26-28, 15-11.

The Snook Bluejays fell to Iola 60-20 last Friday in Iola.Iola improved to 4-4 overall and 3-2 in district play while Snook remained winless for the season and 0-5 in district play.

Hornet tennis team falls to Franklin in Regional Semifinals

The Hornet team tennis team has had a season for the school’s history books.The team rol l e d through early nondistrict matches and through district undefeated, and the team has never earned a spot in the regional tournament until this year.
