A celebration of life for Caroline Reeves Simons, 74, of Somerville, will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 23, 2022, in Somerville, at Community Chapel, 14805 TX-36.
She was born on Jan. 6, 1948, in Kerrville, Texas, the second of four children of the late Orbrie Clinton Reeves and Alletta Holekamp Reeves.
She was raised in Kerr Country and graduated from Tivy High School in Kerrville, Texas.
After high school Caroline went to Secretarial School in San Antonio.
She was married 51 years to Roger Dale Simons on Jan. 24, 1970.
She worked at NASA during the moon landing.
She lived her retirement years near Lake Somerville where she enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family playing cards and doing puzzles.
She died on July 9, 2022.
She is survived by two sons; one daughter-in-law; one daughter; one son-in-law; two granddaughters; one grandson; two sisters; and one brother.
