A funeral service for Leonard Ernest Fritsche, 89, of Bryan was held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 16, 2022, at Bethel Lutheran Church in Bryan.
He was born May 26, 1933, in the Loebau community of Lee County to Richard and Laura Kasper Fritsche and was one of four children.
Leonard served in the U.S. Army for two years (1953-55).
He returned home to Texas and met the love of his life, Georgia Ann Sefcik Fritsche. Leonard and Georgia
Leonard and Georgia moved to Bryan in 1959 and started their family.
Leonard was a hard working family provider.
He was a serving mem ber of Bethel Lutheran Church of Bryan.
The majority of Leonard’s career was as a route salesman for various beverage companies.
He enjoyed many outdoor activities of hunting, fishing, gardening and woodworking. He also enjoyed many competitive games of dominoes with friends.
He died on July 8, 2022.
His survivors include his wife, Georgia; one brother; one sister; three sons; 13 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
