MANDY VAJDAK

Mandy Vajdak passed away on December 7, 2022. Visitation was at 10 a.m. with the funeral service to follow at 11 a.m., on December 12, 2022, at the Snook Brethren Church. Interment followed at the Snook Cemetery. Mandy Vajdak was born on June 22, 1980, in Bryan Texas, to Dale and Cathy Marek.

Lucile Helen Dockery, 94, of Bryan, Texas, went to be with our Lord and Savior on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at home with her family by her side. A public visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on December 9, 2022, in the chapel at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Caldwell.

Matilda Maldonado Orozco passed away peacefully on December 3, 2022. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 9, 2022, at 11 a.m. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Somerville, Texas, with the Holy Rosary at 1 p.m. followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 2 p.m.

MAYA LAZARUS

A memorial service for Maya Lazarus, 72, will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 10, 2022, at Strickland Funeral Home in Caldwell. Maya loved to travel and to dance. She was passionate about animal rescue and started a nonprofit to help the animals of Burleson County.

Funeral services for Cynthia Dawn Vick, 68, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 8, 2022, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home, 404 West Buck St., Caldwell, Texas. Cynthia Dawn Thomson, “Cindy,” was born on Sept. 10, 1954, to Arthur Leonard Thomson and Nona Carol Purvis in Duncan, Oklahoma.

GENE SUPAK

Funeral services for Gene Supak, 65, of Caldwell, were held on Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2022, at St. Jo-seph Catholic Church in Dime Box, Texas. Gene was born on Dec. 11, 1956, to Rudolph and Lydie Supak. He was blessed to grow up with five brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services for Arnold Fred Grunwald, 67, of Snook, Texas, were held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2022, at New Tabor Brethren Church, 2439 CR 225, Caldwell, Texas 77836. Arnold was born on Nov. 22, 1954, in Richmond, Texas, to the late Marie (Zuchero) and Wilburn Grunwald.

BOBBY “FRED” GALBREATH

Bobby Frederick “Fred” Galbreath passed away on October 31, 2022. The memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on November 26, 2022, at Strickland Funeral Home in Caldwell, Texas. Fred was born to Marguerite Hamilton Galbreath and G.J. Galbreath on December 23, 1938, in Austin, Texas.
