The Somerville Yeguas lost its opening game last week, 16-15 on Tuesday, Feb. 17, against Granger and 21-5 against St. Joseph, both at home.Against Granger, Somerville rallied from an 11-1 deficit in the bottom of the third before scoring 11 runs in the bottom of the fourth to lead 12-11.

Lady Yeguas place second in home softball tournament

The Lady Yeguas kicked off their softball season last week by hosting their annual Lady Yegua Softball Tournament...and the home team placed second.Somerville was in Pool A, playing on Thursday, with Pool B playing on Friday.Somerville began the tournament with a 7-5 win over BVCHEA HomeSchool.
