Caldwell’s Spencer Ellis has had quite a year.He qualified for the Class 4A Region III Cross Country Meet in the fall, finishing 78th with a time of 18:21.50 -- better than his 2023 regional placing of 84th with a time of 18:59.01.He also won the Kolache Krunch 5K with a time of 18:04.

Texas Football picks Yeguas 4th in District 13-2A DII

Dave Campbells’ Texas Football(DCTF )magazine were able to view what the publication’s prophets had to say about the upcoming 2025 football season.And, they predict Somerville to once again to make the playoffs.However, the Hornets and the Bluejays were not picked to do as well in the fall.

There will be no sports in the Snook High School Gym through July 4.Gym floors are being refinished and will be closed until July 4 to allow time for wax to cure.Strength and Conditioning will still run from 8-9:30 a.m. and 4-5:45 p.m.
