County approves budget, tax rate

Burleson County Commissioners have approved a 46-cent tax rate and a $16.5 million budget for 2024-25.The commissioners approved the tax rate and budget at their Monday, Sept. 9, meeting following public hearings with no comments offered.

This Saturday, Burleson County residents and visitors will make their way to downtown Caldwell for the 39th Annual Kolache Festival.The Burleson County Chamber of Commerce’s event is expected to draw thousands into downtown Caldwell, which will be a boost to area businesses and vendors.
