Bluejays edge Normangee 47-42

Last Tuesday, the Bluejays were able to hold onto a slim lead most of the game to edge Normangee 47-42. Normangee scored the first four points of the game before Lance Lara made Snook’s first field goal. Snook had a two-point lead at the end of the first quarter, leading 11-9.

Noriega wins gold at Swamp Strength Meet

Snook’s Cody Noriega placed first in the 242-pound weight class at last week’s Swamp Strength Invitational at Altair Rice. He won with a total lift weight of 1,335 pounds -- 530 pounds in the squat, 320 in the bench press and 485 in the dead lift.
