ROBERT HARDIN

Robert (Bob) Hardin of Deanville, Texas, loving father of two, died peacefully at home on September 27, 2022, at the age of 84. Bob was born June 21, 1938, in Paris, Texas, to Raymond and Ruth Hardin. He married Gail Gerdes on December 31, 1954, and they raised two children, Patricia and David.

MILTON MYNAR

Milton Mynar, 83, of Caldwell passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, surrounded by his family. Milton was born on July 14, 1939, to Joe and Lillie Schumacher Mynar in the Second Creek community in Burleson County. He was one of two siblings. He graduated from Caldwell High School in 1958.

LEE HAMILTON

Funeral services for Lee Ernest Hamilton, 67, of Caldwell, Texas, were held at 12:00 p.m. on Oct. 24, 2022, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Caldwell. Lee Hamilton was born on Dec. 13, 1954, to Lucy Faye Murray and Lee Hamilton Sr. in Houston, Texas. He is one of four siblings.

DOROTHY BROADDUS

Dorothy Hood was born in the Burleson County community of Hix to Asa Marvin Hood and Lucy Jane Howry Hood. She spent her childhood in Hix where she was a member of the Hix Baptist Church and attended the Hix School. She then went to Caldwell High School where she graduated in 1942.

Glenn was born on November 20, 1939, in Dime Box, Texas, to Henry and Dora Spitzenberger. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, October 20, 2022, at Strickland Funeral Home in Caldwell, with the Rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m.

DELMAR MCCRACKEN

Brother Delmar McCracken walked into the arms of Jesus at the age of 83, on Tuesday, October 11, 2022. His memorial service was held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at Harmony Baptist Church, with Reverend Charles Cole officiating.

MELVIN TINKLENBERG

On Friday October 14, 2022, Mel Tinklenberg, surrounded by the music and words of “Jesus Loves Me” slipped quietly into the arms of his Savior. Melvin Curtiss Tinklenberg, age 81, was born on July 11, 1941, in Edgerton, Minnesota, to Peter and Hattie Tinklenberg.

MEGAN SMITH

Megan Danielle Smith, 35, of Caldwell, Texas, was born on March 12, 1987, to Rodney Smith and Donna Parker in Caldwell, Texas. Megan was one of six siblings and was known as the backbone of the family. She loved her family, basketball, back-roading and getting together with friends.

Franklin (Frank) Joseph Stein, DVM of Snook, Texas, dedicated husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on Monday, October 3, 2022, in Bryan, Texas, at the age of 79. Visitation and a Celebration of Life will be from 5 to 7 p.m.
