A public visitation for William “Billy” Ray Gourley, 38, of Somerville, will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 29, 2022, in the chapel at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Caldwell. Billy loved his family, his Mustang and his motorcycle. He also enjoyed going to church.

ARTIS HAVEMANN

Funeral services for Artis Gail Havemann, 83, of Caldwell, were held on Sept. 17, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Providence Baptist Church. Burial followed at Providence Baptist Cemetery. Gail was born on April 30, 1939, to George and Gladys (Ragsdale) Norville in Caldwell. She was one of four siblings.

James Siebel, Sr.

James Siebel, Sr. (CBO) 59, of Caldwell, was born on November 21, 1962, to Dorothy and Edgar Siebel of La Grange, Texas. He was one of three siblings. Services will be held at a later date. James attended school in Fayetteville, Texas.

Debra Kay “Debbie” Hickman Willeford

Debra Kay “Debbie” Hickman Willeford, 70, was born in Clear Lake, Texas, on June 10, 1952, to Ola Faye (Plaster) and Odine Malek. She went to reunite with her family and friends in heaven on September 2, 2022. Debbie was raised in Alvin, Texas, from birth through high school.

Evelyn Joyce Mitchell, of Caldwell passed away on Thursday, September 8, 2022. Visitation was held on Monday September 12, 2022, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home. Funeral Services were held on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at 10:00 a.m.

VERLIE SIMMONS

Funeral services for Verlie Delois Simmons, (Junnie) will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 8, 2022, at Cooks Point United Methodist Church.  Verlie was born in Orange, Texas. At age three the family moved to Caldwell, whe r e he a t t ended school, graduating in 1969.
